Capital FM's DJ Joe (runners-up in Pilsner Mfalme compe) is in the country after a three-week series of gigz in South Africa. DJ Joe was among the DJs supposed to headline this weekend's New Jersy Street Bash, organised by Lloyd of Umoja Entertainment. Apparently, Umoja Ent had booked DJ Joe, but he had already been given a three-week off to spin in Jo'berg, in the events organised by Dickson Sirawa and Steve Agutu of Bila Shaka Entertainment. The Capital FM management declined to give DJ Joe more time off and now he's back at work. Lloyd has now been forced to get only Black Supremacy's DJ Simple Simon from Kenya. However, it has been a big battle between DJ Joe and veteran disc jockey, DJ Pinye, who were both in South Africa for the Bila Shaka events. Pinye refused to accompany DJ Joe for the first gig as World Cup started, complaining that Joe was treated better than him by the organisers. Since Joe is back in Kenya, Pinye is now doing the gigs in South Africa! What the hell?
